Bridget's preschool class made a bus trip to the Longview Fire Station. I forgot my camera and my phone was dead so I had to wait to charge it to get this picture. The little ones learned a lot at the fire station. They learned what to do when the smoke alarm goes off-drop and go, how a firefighter gets their gear on so kids won't be frightened when they see a fireman in full gear, and stop, drop, and roll. They asked for volunteers to demonstrate stop, drop, and roll and Bridget volunteered right away and showed she had listened to the instructions. The class applauded for her. She also wasn't shy about answering question when asked. She was excited to get the coloring book with the fire dog on it.
