The months-long Lego craze has subsided just a bit, but picked back up again when Bridget got to pick out a new Lego (Downtown Bakery) in exchange for a duplicate she had received for her birthday. The girls now have a pretty big part of the Lego Friends Heartlake City, including the Beach House, Pet Salon, Juice Bar, and now the bakery.
Jillian had wanted to spend her hard-earned Lego money on a new unit, but there weren't many choices for how much money she had, and they were all small. Still, she really wanted to just go ahead and buy one. We talked to her about maybe continuing to earn money so someday she could buy a bigger Lego unit. It took her awhile to decide, but she finally said she would wait. Though she was disappointed, later that night she was proud of herself for making a "smart choice".
