Finally no rain all day. That meant that Jillian and Tor could play tennis most of the day. Lots of volleying and chasing tennis balls over the hill. There was lots of excitement early in the morning when Anna, the cat, brought in a chipmunk to show us. We have a chipmunk that lives in our backyard and we named it "Chippy". This was very concerning so we got the cat put in the bedroom and then tried to catch Chippy, who didn't seem very injured. We thought we chased it out the door. But later Jillian seen the cat hanging by the tall chest and looked and saw the chipmunk was still in the house. Chaos again as we got it out from behind the chest and it ran under the sofa. The kids piled pillows in front and we finally slide the sofa toward the open back door, so finally we saw that chipmunk run out the door. We discovered that it wasn't Chippy, but another chipmunk. Whew!
Tor could wear out Cookie so she needed a nap but Tor stayed close to her whenever they were in the house. Cookie loved the attention!
