6th Grade Track Meet

Bridget has been going to track practices for several weeks, and finally got to participate in a track meet at Mt. Solo Middle. One of her events was the discus, and this pic shows her getting ready to spin around (one of the only kids who does that):

She ran the first leg of the 4 x 200 relay, placing first (they were the only girls team):

Bridget also did the shot put and the 4 x 100 relay. Her relay team had a very big lead going into the home stretch, but unfortunately Mt. Solo had a very fast anchor that won it -- Bridget was particularly unhappy about that outcome. Oh well.
