As soon as Tor arrived, he saw Papa working on the siding of the shed. He immediately went in the garage and grabbed a couple of tools and joined Papa. Papa was working up above and had put this board over the dog pen so Tor climbed the dog pen fence and spent almost the rest of the afternoon up there turning bolts and the such. And I spent the time hovering nearby if he needed to get down. There was also screening over the top of the dog pen so he couldn't fall through.
This is Susie, a Box-elder beetle. When the girls were little they would run screaming when they saw a beetle in the house. So to calm them I said the beetle was a friend named Susie who came to see us every year in the fall and spring. I would pick up Susie, talk to her, and then let her go outside, back to her family. Pretty soon when the girls would see a beetle they would pick up Susie and put her outside. Yesterday Bridget was excited to see Susie had come back to visit. She picked her up and let her crawl all over. Susie was happy.
