It was a big weekend for Bridget. She had a birthday party at home at noon with the Peterson-side of the family. In attendance were Uncle Richard, Papa Ken and Bev, Aunties Greta and Sheryl, and Auntie Karen and Uncle Alan all the way from North Dakota, along with the kids: cousins Andy & Karlie and neighbors Hazel and Ila. After lunch and a crafting project, we sang and ate Mommy's yummy cake. Bridget received many awesome gifts from everyone.
In the evening, we went to the Longview American Legion for a 4-person birthday party for Papa Ken's, Auntie Karen's and Auntie Charlotte's 70th and Bridget's 6th. There was lots of food and lots of people. Cousin Jim provided all of the kids with balloons, and it was off to the races. When asked later, Bridget was very happy with her day.
