Scary Witches?

It seems like Ava has practiced the scary witch look but Bridget and Jillian need to work on theirs. Tor was emptying the Halloween bins and the girls found these hats to wear while they were out riding on scooters and ripsticks. Tor did a great job of emptying 3 bins and putting up the decorations all through the house.

School for Dolls

Bridget received this Our Generation Schoolhouse from Auntie Sheryl for her birthday, and she and Jillian have had a great time with it.

Non-stop Playing

 As soon as Ava and Harper got here for the sleepover, it was outside until dark riding scooters and ripsticks.  Once in awhile they would come in and dress up downstairs and then ride around, while listening to the outside speaker, dressed in fancy outfits. There would be dance moves to the music too.

 Then I tried to get a picture of all of them and this was the best I could do.  Tor had his soccer ball and convinced them at times to play a game of soccer.

This is a little blurry but the best one I could get.  It's the next morning and they went right out in the rain to ride again until I called them in for a short break for breakfast.  They didn't even bother to get out of the clothes they slept in.

They did take some time to work on rock houses. It hasn't lost it's appeal yet. They were sad to see  Ava and Harper leave but Jillian, Bridget, and Tor had soccer games that morning.

Slime Time

The kids went to JoAnn's to buy ingredients for slime. They mixed up their Elmer's glue, glitter and activator to create their own slime. At first, it was a big sticky mess, but as they worked it, it solidified and became easier to play with.

Chillin' in Kalama

Papa Ken dropped the kids off at Kalama Elementary, since Daddy had a tech vendor fair to go to in the evening. They came into Daddy's office in the old library and plopped down to read some books.

At the fair, while Daddy was talking to vendors, the kids ran around and asked for the freebies. They were so excited to come out with so much "loot".

Bridget is 8!

This was Bridget's fourth of four birthday parties (and her actual birthday). She brought cupcakes to soccer practice, and her teammates gathered around and sang to her, then mobbed her.

B-day Party in Longview

Bridget celebrated the third of her four birthday parties at Papa Ken and Bev's house. For this one, she shared the party with Papa, celebrating his 72nd.

We ate dinner outside in Papa's new backyard, then had cake and ice cream.

Bridget continued to receive many neat gifts, which she doesn't seem to get tired of.
