John Wayne Resort

We made it to our camping spot at John Wayne Resort on Sequim Bay. There is a parking lot with a coastline across the road that the kids trekked to so they could wade out into the water.

They found lots of shells along the way and stopped for a sunset photo shoot. It would have been perfect except for Tor putting up "bunny ears" behind Bridget's head:

We toured around the park, checking out the marina nearby. The weather has been pretty nice so far:

The resort has a small kid recreation area, with a large field and a short net that the kids used for some modified badminton:

Our priority was putting up the new tent. It was pretty easy, and thankfully both queen inflatable mattresses fit inside (with a small space for Tor on the ground). We had grilled burgers and hot dogs courtesy of Hal, then wrapped up the evening watching Super Mario Bros in Grandma Cindy's camper.
