Rick had his 54th birthday at Grannie and Papa's house. On each person's birthday we have in the family, the birthday person has to provide a theme. (It's easier to buy for them that way.) Rick's theme was nuts of any kind so we had squirrels as decorations and he got lots of nuts for gifts plus a couple other things.

Papa made his enchiladas and Heather brought a delicious cream cheese cake we topped with wild blackberries. Also we had a Pea"nut" butter pie to go along with the theme. The games were all about Rick and the answers were pretty funny at times and entirely predictable some other times. Bridget played the moderator for the games and took charge. Of course, Jillian helped Papa Ken win one game as did Tor with Aunt Robin. Lots of fun!
