Yamhill County Fairgrounds

Bridget had another successful horse show today, this time at the Yamhill County Fairgrounds. Here's a pic of her riding in an Open competition alongside Aunt Dany.

This was the first time that she had shown in the English saddle, and she did very well, improving as she went.

The afternoon was spent riding Western, and she performed great there, as well. One of the highlights was making it into the top ten in an Open competition of well over 20 riders, many older.

There were a lot of riders in her 10-13 year old division, so ribbons were harder to come by. She ended up with three 3rds, two 4ths, and two 5ths (but they ran out of ribbons).

It was a long day, so Bridget was treated to a Dairy Queen Blizzard afterwards.
