It's Snow Fun

     This is the beginning of Bridget's first snowman. She did a lot of sledding this year but her main focus was on building a snowman.

     Jillian's main focus was going as fast as she could down the hill. This was one of the first runs of the day.

Tor also got into trying out all the different sleds we have. He didn't have much control on this one and took a few spills.

Bridget brought her dolls out to enjoy the snow. She sat this one on the tree bench and held the other doll, who threw snowballs at the one on the bench.

 Jillian got the idea to add this jump to the ski runs. She was going pretty fast so got some good air.

 Tor had to try it too and he was quite fearless.

 Jillian then tried the jump with the flat sled and this time didn't get near the air time.

 Then of course, the tradition of making slushies with the snow and juice. They actually tasted pretty good but br-r-r-cold.
 They went out again in the afternoon after it snowed a couple more inches. Then it got dark and Tor went out by himself for quite awhile with his pretend sword.

This is snowman number 2. (I couldn't get it to load in order.) It was almost dark on their second outing when she made this one. Again Jillian helped her lift the heavy parts but other than that, Bridget made them all by herself. This time there was a lot more snow which made it easier to roll the balls.

Bridget was very proud of her finished snowman. This is the first one she made. She did have to have help putting on the big body and head. We got a carrot from the garden.
