After Parker and Auna's graduation party, Jillian, Bridget, and Tor came for a sleepover but while at the party they got together with Ava and Harper to plan a sleepover here with all of them.
Bridget is over the hill from the driveway watching the drain pipe to see what color the water is when it's draining.
This is a popular pastime for Jillian, Bridget, and Tor so they decided to share it with Ava and Harper. They turn on the hose to run across the driveway and go down the drain under the steps. Then they furiously color to change the color of the water that comes out below. Bridget will yell up to them what color she's seeing. (They trade off on that job.) Then they try mixing colors so get different effects. Good thing big chalk is cheap and I do limit their experiments to about an hour so they won't run to much water from our well.
Later that night, when they finally wore themselves out playing, they all came into the craft room with handfuls of rocks. They made their rocks into people and animals and made houses for them to live in. They even made a hospital for one of the rocks that was expecting a baby. They were all quite creative and then helpful when I told them to clean up because the "Inspector" was arriving soon to check if that craft room was clean.
Jillian took pictures of all the rocks with a neat background. I believe this was either Ava or Harper's collection.
Then I had them line up their houses for a final picture. Ha, ha, as this morning they were right at it again doing more to their houses and gathering more rocks to make additional animals.
