Jillian and Bridget couldn't wait to go outside this morning ... there was nearly a foot of snow on the ground! We got both of them bundled up in several layers of clothes, and then they took off for the backyard. Jillian got right to work on her own little snowmen (shown in the photo) while Bridget helped Daddy start rolling a snowball for the big family snowman. When Jillian was done with hers, she started rolling a snowball for the head of the big one. It took a while and lots of rolling and snow, but we eventually put it together. The girls got the rocks for the eyes and mouth, and a baby carrot for the nose, as well as Mommy's hat. Our neighbor Jack even came over and took some pictures. By this time, the girls were frozen and ready to go back in the house. Tor did manage to come out for a few minutes with Mommy, but he couldn't stay long because of his cold.
