Mom's B-day

Mom spent her birthday evening with Greta, Sara, McKenna and Lindsey at the Max McNown concert in Portland. They went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant beforehand:

Ballers Season Finale

Tor and his Ballers Pink Basketball team played their final tournament of the season this weekend at the Jan Slam in Kelso, going undefeated to win the 6th grade Boys Gold championship.

Tor has enjoyed playing for Coach Rick, Coach Lacy and Coach Kyle.

The second day featured tough, close wins over the Olympia Bears and the Ridgefield Ninjas. Tor played well, both on defense with several steals, and on offense with some highlight shots and accurate passes.

We headed to Sweetspot afterwards to celebrate, and saw lots of other Ballers there, too.

Hoop Weekend

No volleyball this weekend, so our focus was on Tor's final basketball games with the Longview Ballers. They won both games today by big margins, with Tor providing some nice passing. Aunt Julie brought the Johnson girls to watch the second game, and they ran wild the whole time with Bridget chasing after them. We tried to get Kenny in the pic, but she said "NO!", so it's just Rory:

MLK Volleyball

Jillian and Mom traveled up to Seattle this past weekend to participate in the MLK Seattle Kickoff Tourney in the Seattle Convention Center. Her Aspire 17-2 Royal volleyball team had its ups and downs, finishing in the Silver Division.

The team got together on Saturday night for a team dinner at La Cocina Oaxaquena.

Mom and Jillian stayed at Nicki and John's house for the weekend.

Fultano's Pizza

Coach Lacy treated all of the Ballers and their parents to pizza at Fultano's.

Tor and teammate Keegan were arcade buddies, and there were lots of basketball games:

Touring Seaside

We had 3 hours in Seaside to wait between the last basketball game and the team dinner, so we toured around Main Street. The beach was freezing cold but sunny. Tor is carrying the rainbow football we bought on the way (as a backup to the original):

Beach Wins

Tor and his Ballers Pink basketball team won their first two games at Seaside to put them into the championship game on Sunday.

Between games, we went to the Nike Outlet store and Tor picked out some Nike Slides for $13 (see pic).
