Middle School Dance

Jillian got dressed up for her first middle school dance of the year ... and Mommy volunteered as a chaperone.

UPDATE: Jillian said the dance was "awesome!" It was loud, dark and packed with mostly 6th graders. Mommy said she had a great time hanging out with her friends.

Afterwards, she met up with friends Morgan and Vicki at Baskin Robbins for $1.70/scoop ice cream.

Mommy's B-day Party

It was a cozy gathering of family and friends at home to wish Mommy a happy birthday. We watched some old VHS tapes of Mommy in high school and college, then celebrated with brownies and ice cream.

Tor tried to blow out the candle, but Mommy was too fast for him this time.

Basketball with Adam

We got to see Adam play with his basketball team on Sunday. Adam played really well, and helped his team win the first game (we saw) with tough defense and a long shot from deep.

Andy's B-day & Nerf Party

After a very long trip to Seattle due to being stuck behind a traffic accident and then rerouted, we made it for the last part of Andy's birthday party, and the kids got to battle a little bit with nerf guns at Andy's dojo.

Later, we stopped by Auntie Sheryl's new place and played around for awhile.

Wednesday Fun at Aunt's

Found out the twins were at Aunt's house so they invited the kids up to play. Tor went along and was coming back with me until he found out Rielee was there and would play 4-square with him. He was all over that because him and Rielee are very competitive.

 

 The girls did a lot of lego building and then they decided to do a group hug before they had to leave.

Serving Star

At this weekend's volleyball tournament, Jillian made her first serve in the morning, then later in the afternoon, she served 6 in a row! Her team ended up winning the Silver division (again). To celebrate, we went to Sweetspot (again).

Bridget's Basketball Season Opener

Bridget started this basketball season on a new team with Coach Tyson and only 5 other girls. They played their first games today, and Bridget played very well: helping on defense, blocking shots, and taking quite a few shots (and making one!).
