Outside Fun

 Tor and Bridget were outside in the sandbox by 10 o'clock in the morning.  At one point Tor was just sitting on this rock and looked so cute, so I said I wanted a picture and Bridget ran up to get in the picture too.

 Next is was on to driving the jeep and Bridget had on her driving fast face.  Tor went right along with her crazy driving.

 After driving for awhile they always have to gas up.  Tor brought out the gas for Bridget.  They never get the lid off the windshield washing fluid.

 Then Tor got a wild ride in the wagon as Bridget looked to see his reaction.

When it was time for lunch Bridget spotted the kid's table on the shelf.  She put the legs on, brought out the little chairs, one for her bunny too, and they ate lunch outside.  Here Tor had his mouth full for the picture. Also today for the first time Bridget did the zip line by herself.  The one other time, probably a year ago, she let go and fell so she was pretty apprehensive.  After the first success, she went many times. 

Pre-Easter Fun

It was nice enough that the kids could play outside at Grannie and Papa's house all afternoon. They spent most of their time at the tree fort, which is showing its age after 13 years. Still, they played on all of the usual attractions: Jillian's favorite is the zipline (because it's fast, of course), Bridget loves the tree swing (because it's a bit slower) and Tor wishes he could ride the rope swing (but spends most of his time just climbing around).

Egg Decorators

Jillian, Bridget and Torion worked hard on decorating their Easter eggs on Thursday. For the most part, the kids were focused and careful, and they did a nice job of coloring. Tor did pretty good, only breaking a few eggs and spilling the dye a couple times.

Easter Lilies

 We all set out with Tierney to hunt for Easter Lilies.  At the edge of the woods they spotted a few and raced to get one each.  As we got farther into the woods the Easter Lilies were all over.

 Bridget had a big bunch in no time and Tor had me hold his bunch so he wouldn't be slowed down picking.  Tor said his bouquet was to go home to Mommy.

 When I walked into the living room, Bridget was sitting reading a book with my glasses on.  But I'm sure she couldn't see anything with them on.

 Then I saw Jillian with my glasses on too.  I guess they were taking studying seriously.

Tor, not wanting to be left out of wearing glasses, got his goggles on.  Silly kid!

Kindergarten Registration

Bridget went to the kindergarten registration at Olympic Elementary on Thursday. She got to check out the classrooms, meet some of the teachers, and do some activities. When we left with a bag of schoolwork, Bridget said "This is the best day ever!" At home, she immediately started working on the schoolwork that was given to her.

New Blanket

Grannie Woodruff knitted this new blanket for Bridget. She takes it to bed with her everynight, and uses it to relax around the house.

Sunny and Sandbox

For them it seems like such a long time, but finally it's dry and warm enough to uncover the sandbox.  They were all over that and extra excited to play with all the sandbox toys that were put away all winter.
