Painting

 The girls wanted to paint pictures and are usually pretty neat about it.  But then Tor does not want to be left out so I let him paint for the first time.  He did pretty good for quite awhile and then he noticed his hands and got quite the kick out of how messy they were. They weren't dirty intentionally, just from the brush.  His art was very creative.

Jillian's Birthday Party #1

 Aunt Julie, Brock, and Ty came down to celebrate Jillian's birthday after her basketball practice. Due to the State play-offs, they will miss her party on Saturday.  They brought her brownies with a candle and sang Happy Birthday.  She was so happy to start her birthday celebration.

With all the focus on basketball lately, it seemed fitting to have presents with a basketball theme from the Johnsons.  She was thrilled to get a new basketball with a shirt and pants to match it.

Pouting and a Fun Day Outside

 Bridget is so caring of other's feelings.  Tor wanted a cheese stick but wouldn't get in the chair to eat it so was crying about it.  He finally got on the chair and Bridget went to him and gave him a comforting hug and then he got his string cheese and was happy again.

A new first:  Tor probably wasn't ready to wake up from his nap, so when he woke up he walked straight past me and went to pout under the desk.  He stayed there for awhile and then asked for water.  Not long after that, he came out to be his happy self again.

 Tierney made a surprise visit and the kids were thrilled.  Better yet she took them all outside to play.

Then while they were playing, Rielee saw them outside so came to join the fun.  They had a great time since they haven't seen Rielee for awhile.

Computer and Movies

 This is a regular thing for Tor to do every time he comes.  The screen saver has a Christmas picture on it so he moves the mouse around and says the names of people.  He also knows how to left click the mouse to make things happen which isn't a good thing sometimes.

Bedtime without basketball practice:  Usually practice runs too late so they've missed their show at bedtime so they were happy to be back on schedule.  Tor even sat with them in their closet bedroom to watch "Bambi".

Sunny Beach Day

Finally, a beautiful, sunny day at the beach. So, we are spending the day outside, riding bikes, playing ball, going to the playground, and hopefully playing at the beach.

Fun Land

The kids went to Fun Land today and got their pictures taken in the photo booth. They made their best silly faces.
