Jillian broke the RA Long school record in the girls 200 meter dash at the Spudder Track & Field Invite in Ridgefield! She ran a personal best 26.77 seconds:
Her teammate Hailey also broke the record at the meet, which accounts for Jillian’s current no. 2 overall ranking in school history, but still an amazing accomplishment!
At the middle school track meet in Longview Memorial Stadium, Jillian’s senior photo was hanging on the fence around the track near the entrance.
Tor participated in his typical 3 events, and came away with another PR in the 100m hurdles (19.9 secs) and a 3rd place finish in 7th grade.
Jillian had an assignment in her Sports Marketing class to create a music video, so she had Tor lip sync Rihanna’s “Love on the Brain”. The video also featured Tor’s Darth Vader, and cameo’d Bridget and “Balloony” (from Phineas and Ferb):
Tor set personal bests in both of his running events tonight at the Woodland track meet. He ran 21.30 secs in the 100m hurdles to win his heat and place 7th in the 7th grade:
And he ran 1:15.98 secs in the 400m to win his heat and place 4th in the 7th grade:
Tor and his Carolina Panthers flag football team played against the Washington Commanders in a scorcher on Sunday, with temps nearing 90 F. The game was a tie, with Tor claiming a touchdown and an interception.

Jillian was a coach for the RA Long Buff Puff Volleyball Team, along with fellow senior varsity teammates Ella, Evelyn and Bri. They had run several practices with the senior boys, and it paid off with a 3-1 victory over Mark Morris in the annual fundraiser.
Bridget and Handsome went to the Clark County Fairgrounds to participate in the First Chance Qualifying Performance Show.
It was an up-and-down day, but they did manage to secure 3 victories in the senior division, with 1st place finishes in Showmanship, Hunt Seat Pattern, and Western Discipline Rail.
