Rotary Lunch

Jillian and a fellow RA Long student were invited to have lunch with the Rotary Club. Jillian got to tell them a little bit about herself. She said the food was really good!

Tree Topper

It was Bridget's turn to place the star on top of the Christmas tree this year, and while she was on the step stool, she reflected on the coming Christmas's when her next turn will be as a high school senior.

Time to Decorate

In between the busy school and sports schedules, we found time to decorate the tree, waiting until practices were over late into the night and staying up to hang ornaments. Mom and Dad took care of theirs earlier, so the kids worked on hanging theirs - each kid had over 20 ornaments of their own to put up - they've grown quite a collection between school crafts and gifts each year.

Despite Mom removing many ornaments out of circulation, the tree was still packed.

Kids' Tree

Finding time for all 3 kids to be available at the same time is difficult, but we found it tonight ... so they put up and decorated their little Christmas tree together. Their presents to each other will be put under the tree soon.

Clatskanie Champs

Tor and his Mustang Basketball team came away with the championship plaque for the Clatskanie Tiger Tournament after going undefeated.

Tor had a great tournament with his defense and passing. They played the final game against the Landsharks, which includes many former Longview Baller teammates.

RA Long Marching Band

Bridget marched in the Longview Christmas Parade with the RA Long band, playing the cymbals.

She brought up the rear of the band with the other percussionists. The weather was decent for most of the parade, but then the rain came down at the end.

Centerpieces

The kids worked on their crafting skills by making their Christmas centerpieces. Here's their finished products:

They've done this for awhile, so it doesn't take them too long to make.

They were kept entertained by Kenny, Rory and G-Bob while Erika worked on hers. They also worked on finding the reindeer to make up for 6 days.
