Black Pearl High Point

On the first day of the Black Pearl Horse Show at the Clark County Fairgrounds, Bridget and Handsome won the English High Point, after garnering 8 blue ribbons, including a couple in Dressage (which Bridget rarely does).

Second Half

The RA Long volleyball team started the second half of the league matches with a sweep at Hudson's Bay. Jillian got to hit outside for a bit and had several kills, while Bridget started at middle (due to Evelyn's injury) and had several strong attacks off Jillian's sets.

Team Dinner

The RA Long Volleyball Team came over to our house after practice to enjoy a big dinner. Mom made beef stew and chili, and chicken noodle casserole by popular request, while Dad made sourdough bread and brownies for dessert.

It was a packed house with 13 players, along with coaches Luchau and Ta.

Queen Jillian

Jillian is the 2025 Homecoming Queen for RA Long High School! She is joined by King Alexis, her escort for the event.

Next to her are the gold and white balloons that came out of her box, signifying her crowning. There were lots of loud cheers and screams from the crowd when they saw her win. All of her family and friends were so excited!

Pep Assembly

RA Long High had their Homecoming pep assembly today, and the Homecoming Court was introduced to the student body (minus Evelyn, who dislocated her ankle in the volleyball match last night).

Jillian was introduced and was escorted by Traci Ellis while some facts about Jillian were recited by the announcer. Then, she was escorted by Alexis Soto on the boy's side:

Twins

It is Homecoming Spirit Week at RA Long High School, and Wednesdays theme was "Twins" ... an easy one for Jillian and Bridget, since so many people mistake one for the other. They dressed the same for school, and the only thing setting them apart was the sash that Sweetie Pie wears every day this week to signify that she is on the Homecoming Court.
