Hattie

Though Dad and Tor have already seen newest cousin Hattie, she's been asleep every time. This time, though, we caught her with her eyes open.

We were visiting at Aunt Laura and Uncle Dave's house for the Piercy family get-together, since Uncle Barry and Aunt Pam were in town. Jillian and Tor also got to spend some time entertaining cousin Josie outside.

Driving to Castle Rock

Mom and Dad decided that, in order to get enough driving practice, Jillian would drive if she was in the car with us. So, since we were making a trip to Castle Rock, she got to drive all the way there (on the side roads ... she's not quite ready for I-5).

Anna, Cookie, and Sophie flock to Bridget to get cuddles when she visits. Jillian, Bridget, and Tor came to visit while Daddy cut wood. Tor first wears out Cookie with lots of playing as soon as they arrive. Sophie gets in on it too with everyone. We love them getting a lot of attention, so when they all leave, the animals crash for a long time.

Bridget's B-day List

Bridget created her birthday list again, exactly 2 weeks before the big day of turning 13! Many thanks to Aunt Dany & Uncle Jason, Grandma Cindy and Hal, Auntie Greta, and Grannie & Papa Woodruff, for gifting her a new pair of chaps for horse showing!

MM Jamboree

Jillian's second year on the RA Long Varsity Volleyball team kicked off today at the Mark Morris Jamboree. Jillian started at the setter position and played all rotations. Her team won convincingly against Toutle Lake and Mark Morris, and fell short against Kalama and Hudson's Bay. She played against several of her LC Elite club teammates, including Riley and Swifty:

Friday Night Fun

Tor got invited to a playdate with his buddy Bowen. They hung out at his house, then ate dinner and headed up to Castle Rock to watch the RA Long football team win.
