Cloney Park Fireworks

We finished up our night on Papa Ken and Bev's porch watching the fireworks show at Cloney Park:

Hal's Fireworks

Our Fourth of July wrapped up at Grandma Cindy and Hal's with a smorgasbord of food and desserts, some outdoor games, and some humongous fireworks courtesy of Hal. Here's the kids patiently waiting on the back lawn:

Peterson BBQ

We had an afternoon BBQ at Papa Ken and Bev's for the 4th, along with Auntie Greta, Uncle Richard, cousins Jim, Michelle, Jesse and Paula. The kids got to hang out with Jayden, Jace and Paxton:

Go Fourth Parade

We met up with cousin Adam and Clark at the usual location for the annaul Longview Go Fourth Parade. In a first, none of the kids pursued any candy that was thrown, preferring to just watch and see if they knew anyone.

New Lightsaber

Tor bought a new lightsaber with his own money. He really wanted one that had a metal hilt, changed colors and had sound effects, so we found this one. Here he is posing with it when it got dark:

Volleyball Fundraising

Jillian worked with teammate Evelyn at the RA Long volleyball fundraiser, taking $5 donations for parking in the RAL parking lot during the Fourth of July festivities at the lake.
