Sunny Days

Jillian, Bridget, and Tor came up Thursday night as there wasn't school Friday. After dinner it was outside immediately as it was still sunny and they stayed outside until way after dark riding scooters and such and finished with chalk drawing of Easter on the driveway.

The next morning they all jumped up, had breakfast and headed outside by 9 AM. Not long after that Ava and Harper came to play outside. I had planned a bunny craft for all of them but they wanted to stay outside and play which was great! Here they are welcoming Aunt Julie's dog Bella to the group.

After the twins left, Aunt Julie gave Jillian a setting and serving lesson. Since her team has some trouble passing, Julie had her running all over and trying to make a good set from every toss. Tor and Bridget were kinda helpers. After lunch they all went up to see the twins, taking a dip in the hot tub and exploring their new tree house. 

 

Lego Super Mario Mania!

Tor has been very focused on Lego Super Mario lately, receiving many sets as gifts for his birthday and Christmas. This is his complete track so far.

One More Party

Tor got celebrate his 8th birthday a third time, this one with the Peterson family at our house. Mommy made the cake ... chocolate, of course.

He received many awesome gifts, so he should be busy for awhile.

Tor's B-day in CR

Tor got to have his second 8th birthday party in Castle Rock on Saturday. Whenever we ask for his choice of cake and ice cream, he always says chocolate and chocolate.

He received so many nice presents, including this wood carving made by Papa Bob.

As always, there were party games to play -- this time it was ball-throwing targets, Tor's favorites.

Big Boy Hoop

Tor finally graduated from his tiny plastic hoop to a full-sized one. It will sit in the front driveway for his likely daily practice (when not raining) ... and the girls will probably get some use out of it, too.

Tor is 8!

We celebrated Tor's 8th birthday with a small family party at home, culminating with a brownie and ice cream.

Tor had taken cupcakes to school for his classmates in the morning. When he got home, he got to open his big present from Mom and Dad (it was a full size basketball hoop for outside).

Then, we had Junior's Tacos for dinner, and watched Tor's choice of shows, including the old PJ Masks.
