Even More Snow

We woke up to snow in Longview, which meant lots of snow in Castle Rock. After Mommy left for work, we headed up there. Harper and Ava joined them to go sledding down the big hill. That was followed by snowballs and snowmen, then hot chocolate and soup inside.

Surprise-Snow!

It was a sleepover night so they all made beds in the living room since there was no school Friday. Since I have to sleep in the recliner due to my shoulder, we watched 101 Dalmations until bedtime.

 And surprise! When Jillian woke up and looked outside to see it snowing, they all got up all excited. The only snow so far. It had just started so when they finished breakfast they went outside to throw some snowballs at each other. When they were cold and wet they gave it up.

 It kept snowing and getting deeper so they decided to have an early lunch and go outside again. Here is Tor deciding that weather would not stop him from getting in some shots. Sorry about the quality but I wasn't getting close and was using the zoom.

 A break to make some slime and they came up with a way to make this giant bubble on the floor.

 Much more snow so back to doing some sledding.

 The last activity was building snowmen. Jillian's little snowman was so cute. All of them made a bigger snowman which was a little green since Papa had cut the grass yesterday. After that it warmed up so they kept busy with some crafts.

Bridget's Basketball Party

Bridget's basketball season wrapped up with a party at Pie@trio's Pizza. It was a small gathering, since there are only 6 players on the team. Here's a pic of her with Coach Tyson.

Tor's Basketball Party

Tor finished his basketball season at Papa Pete's Pizza with his teammates and Coach Amy. He received a nice trophy for his shelf.

Combined Birthday Party

We had a big party to celebrate Jillian's 12th and Tor's 7th birthdays (plus Auntie Sheryl's). Lots of family and friends ... the house was packed.

Mommy made the cakes: Tor's was a football with some Kansas City Chiefs designed, and Jillian had a blingy "J" and all 12 candles lighting up the room.

Beforehand, the kids played some Minute-to-Win-it games.

Tor was thrilled to receive a ton of football items, and Patrick Mahomes stuff.

Ash Wednesday

The kids went to the Lent Service last night, and since they missed last week (Ash Wednesday), Pastor Hagen placed an ash cross on Bridget and Tor's foreheads (and Jillian's wrist ... she was scared).

Tor is 7!

Tor turned 7-years-old (a few days ago). He had a party at school, bringing cupcakes to share, and his classmates sang to him.

In the evening, Mommy made him rice and gravy for dinner (his favorite) and we got blizzards at DQ (another favorite). Plus, he got to pick out a Lego (Minecraft) at the store.
