Biggest Sister and Little Brother

Jillian is always saying how much she loves her little brother Torion, and she likes to show it by holding him all the time. In this instance, she wanted a photo taken of both of them. Tor doesn't look so sure about this, but he really does like seeing his big sister, and will smile when he sees her.

Meagan's Graduation

All of the kids went to Longview Memorial Stadium to see cousin Meagan graduate from RA Long High School on Saturday. It was a beautiful, sunny day, and the kids did pretty good sitting in the stands. They were definitely ready to get out at the end, though, and run around. Which meant it was a little difficult to get a good picture of them with Meagan ... especially Bridget, who had to have a separate photo taken.

HS Graduation

Cousins Cale, Tierney, and Macee all graduated and joined lots of relatives afterwards.  Tor finally woke up and got to be in some pictures.  It was hard to find all the graduates in the mob after the ceremony.

 Jillian and Bridget got to run around after patiently waiting through the ceremony and here joined Cale and Tierney.  Jillian kept shouting "Tierney" after the graduates walked in and Tierney acknowledged her with a wave and then Jillian was happy.

Fun in the Sun

 It was so nice that the girls were outside by 9:00 AM playing in the sandbox.  They played there for quite awhile.  (They played there even longer in the afternoon when I let them use the hose to put water in their moats and also all over.)  Then they discovered the waterfall and pond that Papa had just cleaned out.  This is Jillian standing in the stream with her head sticking out of a maple tree.  She thought that was hilarious.  The girls stayed at the waterfall for the longest time, taking off their shoes and wading.  By ten o'clock they were soaked, splashing water over each other.

Bridget didn't like the splashing at first but it didn't take long and she was splashing Jillian.

 The girls found lots of agates in the stream and Jillian made a pile of her rocks, not Bridget.  She lined her rocks in two rows-the beginning engineer.

 After getting soaked they got towels and decided to have a tea party but not with tea or water.  They wanted chocolate milk with whip cream. 

After dinner Ty came to watch and play with the girls.  He took this picture when the girls pretended to be puppies and Ty was their trainer.  He would throw the football for the girls to fetch.  The girls had a great time with Ty.  Later, after a couple hours, Ty brought the girls in for snacks before bed and said he was exhausted!!

Happy at Baptism

Torion, with Godmother Aunt Robin, was enjoying himself at church.  Sheryl and Robin were in the row behind Tor and were playing with him and he was having a good time, smiling big!  He is now generally a happy kid except when he decides he's hungry and makes it known to all.

Jillian Grows Up

I had to post this picture of Jillian from her pre-school graduation because to me it shows how Jillian has matured into a lovely girl.  She is vibrant and fun loving with a gentleness for Torion, consideration for animals, and she is a good friend to Bridget.  She can wrestle Bridget to the ground but she shows a genuine concern for anything that's not fair to Bridget.  What a sweetheart!

Tor Visits

Tor got to come stay with us while Mommy and Daddy went to a movie.  He was so good the whole time.  The girls were playing outside and I took him out to watch them.  He was absorbed in watching them and the dogs run around.  When I would go in the house for a moment he would start to fuss so it was back outside right away.  He was outside with them until it started to get dark and the girls came in.  While they had their snacks Papa fed Tor and they watched the Mariners play.

Then when Cousin Tierney and Aunt Robin came to visit it was Tierney's job to get Tor asleep which after all the excitement went well.  We laid him down and then put the girls to bed.  All was quiet and peaceful.  About 15 minutes later Julie came in the door and the dogs barked and woke up Tor, then Mommy and Daddy came and the girls heard them and ran out screaming and all excited and then there was chaos for awhile.  Daddy laid down with the girls and they and Daddy fell asleep.  We had to wake him up so Mommy and Daddy could take Tor home.  It will be fun to have Tor visit more!
